NOVELTY - A magnesium-based carbon nanotube-graphene hydrogen reservoir is obtained by mixing carbon nanotubes and graphene in a weight ratio of 1:1, adding solvent chosen from N-methylpyrrolidone, dimethylformamide and water, stirring to obtain carbon nanotube graphene, mixing 40-60 pts. wt. magnesium-based powder and 40-60 pts. wt. carbon nanotube graphene to obtain magnesium-based carbon nanotube graphene, filling magnesium-based carbon nanotube graphene in a molding frame and freeze-drying. USE - Magnesium-based carbon nanotube-graphene hydrogen reservoir is used for storing hydrogen. ADVANTAGE - The porous, lightweight magnesium-based carbon nanotube-graphene hydrogen reservoir has large surface area, excellent flame retardance, and can be economically manufactured. The magnesium-based powder comprises magnesium-nickel alloy powder and/or magnesium-iron powder, and has particle size of 100 mu m-5 nm.
