NOVELTY - A functional graphene is prepared by taking 0.01-20 wt.% graphite and/or derivative, adding 0.0001-50 wt.% plant polyphenol and/or derivative, adding water or organic solvent, and ultrasonic stripping or stirring. USE - Method for preparing functional graphene used for preparing polymer/graphene composites (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, low-cost and environment-friendly, and has high product yield. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of functional graphene comprising taking functional graphene and carrying out solution blending, melt blending or emulsion blending.
