NOVELTY - Preparing flexible heat conducting phase change gel material comprises (i) taking 85-97 pts. wt. organic phase change material, heating and stirring under the condition of 10degrees Celsius higher than the phase change temperature to melt it into a transparent liquid, (ii) taking 3-15 pts. wt. cross-linked elastomer material and adding them to the melted organic phase change material obtained in step (i) in batches, heating and stirring until all the cross-linked elastomer materials are dissolved to obtain a phase change gel material, and (iii) taking 4-20 pts. wt. modified nano-sheet heat-conducting filler, and 1-5 pts. wt. modified nano-particle heat-conducting filler, firstly adding the modified nanosheets to phase change gel material prepared in step (ii), uniformly heating and stirring, then adding the modified nanoparticles, heating and stirring uniformly, cooling and shaping to obtain finished product. USE - The gel material is useful in a thermal management system of an electronic device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The gel material: is flexible, and not easy to leak; and has high phase change enthalpy, excellent thermal conductivity and excellent stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a flexible heat conducting phase change gel material prepared by the above mentioned method.
