NOVELTY - Aqueous-based epoxy coating having aminated graphene quantum dots, comprises component A including 30-65 wt.% aqueous-based epoxy emulsion, 5-15 wt.% deionized water, 0.1-3 wt.% dispersant, 3-30 wt.% pigment, 0-50 wt.% filler, 1-6 wt.% cosolvent, 0.1-1 wt.% wetting agent, 0.1-1 wt.% defoaming agent, and 0.1-1 wt.% rheological auxiliary agent and component B including 30-50 wt.% aqueous-based amine curing agent, 0.6-10 wt.% aminated graphene quantum dot aqueous dispersion, and 40-69.4 wt.% deionized water. USE - Used as an aqueous-based epoxy coating. ADVANTAGE - The aqueous-based epoxy coating improves the problem of poor acid resistance, anti-corrosion effect, and excellent salt-fog resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing aqueous-based epoxy coating, comprising (i) preparing precursor by bottom-up synthesis method, (ii) ultrasonically dispersing the precursor obtained in step (i) in water, and adding hydrazine hydrate to obtain aminated graphene quantum dot aqueous dispersion, and (iii) preparing component A, then adding aminated graphene quantum dot aqueous dispersion obtained in step (ii) into aqueous-based amine curing agent as component B, and mixing component A and component B according to the specified ratio to obtain aqueous-based epoxy coating having high acid resistance.
