NOVELTY - Aminoadamantane-graphene modified epoxy resin coating is claimed. The aminoadamantane-graphene modified epoxy resin coating is prepared by e.g. (i) processing carboxylated graphene with thionyl chloride to obtain acyl chloride graphene, and reacting with glycerol to obtain hydroxylated graphene, (ii) treating 1,3-adamantanedicarboxylic acid with thionyl chloride to obtain 1,3-adamantanedicarboxylic acid chloride, (iii) adding hydroxy graphene and 1,3-adamantane dicarbonyl chloride into the chloroform solvent, esterifying, and centrifuging to remove solvent to obtain acyl chloride adamantane-grafted graphene, (iv) adding acyl chloride adamantane grafted graphene, polyethylene polyamine and triethylamine into the chloroform solvent, and polyamination treating to prepare polyaminated adamantane-grafted graphene, and (v) mixing uniformly epoxy resin E51, polyaminoadamantane grafted graphene and polyvinylpolyamine curing agent, and vacuum degassing to prepare final product. USE - Used as aminoadamantane-graphene modified epoxy resin coating. ADVANTAGE - The aminoadamantane-graphene modified epoxy resin coating: utilizes curing system of polyvinylpolyamine curing agent, which has good similar compatibility with polyaminated adamantane-grafted graphene; utilizes aminated adamantane-grafted graphene, which has better dispersibility and compatibility in the epoxy resin matrix, and simultaneously the rich amino and imino groups of the graphene-grafted adamantane can participate in the curing process; and significantly enhances the toughness and mechanical properties of epoxy resin sheets. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Aminoadamantane-graphene modified epoxy resin coating is claimed. The aminoadamantane-graphene modified epoxy resin coating is prepared by (i) processing carboxylated graphene with thionyl chloride to obtain acyl chloride graphene, and reacting with glycerol to obtain hydroxylated graphene, (ii) treating 1,3-adamantanedicarboxylic acid with thionyl chloride to obtain 1,3-adamantanedicarboxylic acid chloride, (iii) adding hydroxy graphene and 1,3-adamantane dicarbonyl chloride into the chloroform solvent, introducing nitrogen to discharge the air, performing esterification reaction, centrifuging to remove solvent, and washing the product with chloroform and acetone to obtain acyl chloride adamantane-grafted graphene, (iv) adding acyl chloride adamantane grafted graphene, polyethylene polyamine and triethylamine into the chloroform solvent, introducing nitrogen nitrogen to discharge the air, carrying out polyamination treatment, performing centrifugal separation to remove the solvent, and washing the product with acetone and ethanol to prepare polyaminated adamantane-grafted graphene, and (v) mixing uniformly epoxy resin E51, polyaminoadamantane grafted graphene and polyvinylpolyamine curing agent, and vacuum degassing to prepare final product.
