NOVELTY - Preparing nitrogen-doped graphene comprises providing a substrate, solid and/or liquid organic carbon source compound, preparing the organic carbon source compound into a solution or suspension, coating the organic carbon source solution or suspension on the surface of the substrate, under the oxygen free environment, and under vacuum condition, heating the coated substrate at 500-1300 degrees C, and then passing into nitrogen gas source compound, and reacting. USE - The method is useful for preparing nitrogen-doped graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method does not need additional catalyst, simplifies the production process, reduces the production cost, synthesizes nitrogen-doped graphite by chemical vapor deposition method, easily controls the nitrogen-doped quantity in the nitrogen-doped graphene, and performs uniform doping. The nitrogen-doped graphene has high electrochemical stability.
