NOVELTY - Additive comprises a dispersion of graphene nanofibers, graphene oxide and a superplasticizer, in an acrylic solvent, where the graphene nanofibers have an average diameter of 2-200 nm. USE - The additive is used in a cement composition for a cement paste, which is used for preparing a reinforced concrete, which is used for highway structures, bridges, pavements, runways for airports, continuous slab-type sleepers for high speed trains, covers of crates, and in manufactured precast elements for residential and commercial buildings (all claimed). The concrete is used for continuous slab type sleepers for high speed trains, dam walls, retaining walls, railway sleepers, pipes, and precast elements such as for commercial and residential buildings, cladding, mortar, render, marine and aquatic structures. The composition is used for concrete slabs such as induction material for allowing electric charge of transport vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The additive improves mechanical properties such as tensile strength and compression of reinforced cement composites. The additive improves conductivity, fire resistance and durability to the cement composition, and improves the material durability by delaying crack formation. The additive improves the dispersion of the additive in the cement composition and enhances the hydration of the cement. The additive provides concrete with high strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a cement composition comprising cement and the above-mentioned additive; (2) a cement paste comprising the cement composition; and (3) a process for preparing a reinforced concrete, comprising mixing the cement paste with water, sand and gravel.
