NOVELTY - A high performance acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer/polyamide-6/graphene composite material is prepared by melt-blending and extruding acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer and graphene/polyamide-6 nanocomposite material. The graphene/polyamide-6 nano-composite material comprises polyamide-6 and polyamide-6-grafted monolayer graphene. The polyamide-6-grafted monolayer graphene has transverse dimension of greater than 3 microns. The ratio of mass of graphene and total mass of polyamide-6 is 0.1-1:100. USE - High performance acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer/polyamide-6/graphene composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The high performance acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer/polyamide-6/graphene composite material has high toughness and strength, and excellent anti-UV aging property, flame retardant property, and heat resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of high performance acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer/polyamide-6/graphene composite material, which involves mixing acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, graphene/polyamide-6 nanocomposite material, and maleic anhydride-grafted poly(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) in a ratio of 30-50:45-60:5 ~ 15, premixing in a mixer to obtain a homogeneous premix, (ii) adding homogeneous premix into a twin-screw extruder, extruding at 230-250 degrees C and 200-250 rpm, cooling, and granulating.
