NOVELTY - A radioactive element treatment agent comprises 10-14 pts. wt. oxidant and 22-40 pts. wt. adsorbent. USE - Radioactive element treatment agent. ADVANTAGE - The agent uses oxidant and adsorbent to compound, generates hydroxyl free radical and high valence iron-aluminum-based compound through synergistic effect of adsorbent and oxidant, forms complex state substance by uranium in waste water and main radioactive elements cesium and thorium, absorbs by adsorbent to quickly purify radioactive element in water and heavy metal ion, and realizes deep purification of radioactive element. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an application of radioactive element treatment agent in treating radioactive waste water comprising adding industrial barium nitrate in radioactive waste water, reacting at 110-130degrees Celsius for 1-4 hours, adding hydroxide of alkali or alkali metal, stirring and standing, solid-liquid separating, taking filtrate 1, adding radioactive element treatment agent into filtrate 1, controlling reaction temperature at 30-50degrees Celsius, reacting for 30-40 minutes, adding sodium nitrate or ammonium nitrate, standing and solid-liquid separating to obtain filtrate 2, adding radioactive element treatment agent in filtrate 2, reacting to 80-90degrees Celsius, adding alkaline solution while reacting, controlling pH value to greater than 8, and standing and filtering by plate-and-frame filter press.
