NOVELTY - Preparing graphene nanobelt comprises (a) adding carbon nanowall with concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, stirring the mixture and then adding deionized water, washing the obtained product, filtration to obtain filtrate and neutralizing to obtain slurry, and (b) drying the slurry, introducing the dried slurry into a container and then adding ionic liquid and reducing agent, carrying out ultrasonic treatment and then filtering to obtain filter residue, adding organic solvent with the filtrate to neutralize, adding deionized water with the filtrate and then drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene nanobelt (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of simply preparing graphene nanobelt with improved peeling resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene nanobelt comprises (a) adding carbon nanowall with concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, stirring the mixture and then adding deionized water, washing the obtained product using hydrochloric acid, filtration to obtain filtrate and neutralizing to obtain carbon nanowall slurry, and (b) drying the carbon nanowall slurry, introducing the dried slurry into a container and then adding ionic liquid and reducing agent, carrying out ultrasonic treatment at power of 400-800 W for 3-24 hours and then filtering using a primary filter to obtain filter residue, adding organic solvent with the filtrate to neutralize, adding deionized water with the filtrate and then drying. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the graphene nanobelt prepared by the method.
