NOVELTY - Oil-soluble modified graphene composition comprises 1-5 pts. wt. thermally reduced graphene, 2-10 pts. wt. surfactant, 5-10 pts. wt. initiator, and 75-92 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Used as an oil-soluble modified graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, economical, and suitable for large-scale industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the preparation of oil-soluble modified graphene comprising (i) reducing graphite oxide to obtain thermally reduced graphene, (ii) stirring to add thermally reduced graphene and surfactant in deionized water for 1 hour to obtain emulsion A, (iii) stirring to add initiator to emulsion A at 60-80 degrees C for 8-15 hours, (iv) finishing reaction, filtering solution, washing filtrate using absolute ethanol until filtrate is clear to obtain filter cake, and (v) drying filter cake, collecting, and grinding to powder to obtain oil-soluble modified graphene.
