NOVELTY - Modified graphene-reinforced aluminum-base composite material comprises 0.01-0.3 wt.% modified graphene, 0.3-2.4 wt.% copper, 0.2-1.3 wt.% carbon, 1.2-4.6 wt.% iron, 0.8-1.9 wt.% silicon carbide, 0.1-1.5 wt.% lanthanum oxide, 1.9-4.5 wt.% surfactant, and aluminum (balance). USE - Used as modified graphene-reinforced aluminum-base composite material. ADVANTAGE - The material has comprehensive mechanical performance, strength and hardness, compact structure, good interface bonding graphene sheet uniformly distributed in the aluminum base. The method: keeps original plasticity of aluminum-based composite material; ensures the wettability between the graphene and the metal melt. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing modified graphene-reinforced aluminum-base composite material comprising (i) adding the graphene into anhydrous ethanol, according to m/v ratio is 1:15-25, placing in ball mill, after dispersing uniformly, adding cation surfactant, ultrasonic treating for 2-4 hours, (ii) placing the ultrasonic system in oven at 40-56 degrees C, removing the absolute ethyl alcohol, to obtain the modified graphene, (iii) melting the pure aluminum, until the half melting by adding modified graphene, incubating at 700-750 degrees C for 30-65 minutes, (iv) adding copper, carbon, iron, silicon carbide, and lanthanum oxide after heat preservation and stirring at 750-780 degrees C, adding refining agent to refine, after refining, allowing to stand for 20-40 minutes, then adding surfactant, removing surface dross at 700-720 degrees C, obtaining the aluminum alloy melt, and (v) gravity casting the aluminum alloy melt, to obtain the aluminum alloy casting, casting to perform solid solution treatment, after cooling treatment and aging treatment, to obtain the modified graphene-reinforced aluminum-base composite material.
