NOVELTY - Recovering kish graphite comprises screening kish graphite containing samples having granularity of predetermined range; separating kish graphite samples suspended on top of aqueous solution; desorbing iron and iron oxide particles of the samples; crushing the separated sample; and separating and recovering iron and iron oxide particles of crushed kish graphite samples. USE - The method is useful for recovering kish graphite during iron manufacturing process to produce graphene (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of refining kish graphite of high purity in an easy, environmentally friendly and economical manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for producing graphene comprising: introducing kish graphite within acid solution; oxidizing; rapidly cooling the kish graphite to produce a solid component; peeling the kish graphite interlayer; and rapidly heating to obtain solid content of graphite oxide.
