NOVELTY - Graphene modified high molecular weight ashless dispersant comprises a graphene material which is attached to a high molecular weight succinic anhydride and/or a high molecular weight succinimide dispersant. USE - The dispersant is useful in multifunctional additive composition and lubricating oil composition (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lubricating oil composition has good compatibility and synergistic effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) producing graphene-modified high molecular weight ashless dispersant, comprising mixing the graphene material with high molecular weight succinic anhydride and/or high molecular weight succinimide dispersant; (2) multifunctional additive composition comprising the graphene modified high molecular weight ashless dispersant; and (3) lubricating oil composition comprising a base component and the graphene modified high molecular weight ashless dispersant or the multifunctional additive.
