NOVELTY - The production of modified hexagonal boron nitride powder, involves (S1) weighing 100-150 pts. wt. oxidant and 10-20 pts. wt. hexagonal boron nitride, mixing uniformly, heating at 35-55degreesC, stirring and reacting for 30-60 minutes, washing using 10-15 %mass sodium carbonate solution and filtering, washing using water and filtering, drying the obtained filter residue to obtain pre-treated boron nitride, (S2) weighing 150-200 pts. wt. catalyst, adding pre-treated boron nitride, vibrating and reacting for 15-25 hours, filtering and washing with water to obtain hydroxylated boron nitride as filter residue, and (S3) weighing 120-150 pts. wt. modifier, adding hydroxylated boron nitride, stirring and reacting for 10-20 hours, centrifuging for 10-20 hours, filtering, drying and crushing, where the modifying agent is obtained by mixing polyethylene glycol, 90-95% ethanol solution and aminopropyl triethoxy silane. USE - Production of modified hexagonal boron nitride powder used for preparing radiating film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified hexagonal boron nitride powder has excellent dispersibility in polymeric material, so that polymeric material obtained by the modified hexagonal boron nitride powder has enhanced heat conducting performance, and the product prepared by the polymeric material has excellent radiating effect.
