NOVELTY - Graphene masterbatch comprises 1.0-10 pts. wt. polystyrene, 1.0-10 pts. wt. graphene and 0.01-1 pt. wt. silane coupling agent. USE - Graphene masterbatch used for preparing poly(phenylene oxide)/polystyrene alloy antistatic material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product produces poly(phenylene oxide)/polystyrene alloy antistatic material with excellent electrical properties; and improves the safety of poly(phenylene oxide)/polystyrene alloy material in electrical products. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (A) preparation of graphene masterbatch comprising taking graphene and silane coupling agent, adding to liquid paraffin at room temperature, ultrasonically dispersing for 10-30 minutes to obtain graphene dispersion, taking polystyrene, adding to turpentine or toluene at room temperature, stirring to form polymer solution, adding graphene dispersion to polymer solution at weight ratio of 1:1, stirring at room temperature for 10-30 minutes, heating to reflux and collecting toluene, liquid paraffin and turpentine to obtain paste-like product; and (B) application of graphene masterbatch comprising mixing 50-80 pts. wt. polyphenylene ether and 5-20 pts. wt. grafted polyphenylene ether to obtain poly(phenylene oxide) resin, adding 0.5-2 pts. wt. graphene masterbatch, high-speed mixing for 5-10 minutes and granulating by twin-screw extruder.
