NOVELTY - A thermoelectric conversion material comprises at least one electroconductive material and an organic polymer compound selected from a carbon material, a metal material and a conductive polymer. The polymer compound is a non-conjugated polymer, contains a repeating unit of a monomer having a pyrrolopyrrole structure, and has a weight average molecular weight of 10000-200000. The electroconductive material excludes the organic polymer compound. USE - Material for forming thermoelectric conversion element (claimed) for Peltier device. ADVANTAGE - The material has high Seebeck coefficient, power factor, excellent conductivity and strength, and provides element having excellent thermoelectric performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for thermoelectric conversion element (10), which comprises a thermoelectric conversion film (2) made of the thermoelectric conversion material, and an electrode.
