NOVELTY - Photo-thermal conversion material, comprises flour curing material and carbon material, and the absorbance of the photothermal conversion material in the wavelength range of 200-2500 nm is less than or equal to 95%, and the photothermal conversion material has a hierarchical porous structure. USE - The photo-thermal conversion material is useful in a method of water purification or solution purification and sea water desalination (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photo-thermal conversion material has excellent light absorption characteristic, and high efficiency of photo-thrombographic conversion efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the photo-thermal conversion material, comprising (1) mixing the flour, carbon powder, foaming agent and water to obtain the foaming material, and (2) solidifying the foaming material at high temperature to obtain the photo-thermal conversion material; and (2) a method for desalination, sewage treatment, water purification or solution purification.
