NOVELTY - Method comprises crushing attapulgite raw ore, then sieving by a 80-mesh sieve to obtain attapulgite powder, then adding the powder into organic acid solution, stirring, reacting, slowly adding sodium bicarbonate in the stirring process, finishing reaction, centrifuging and filtering the product, drying the precipitate product at 60-80 degrees C to obtain the modified attapulgite, dissolving the multilayer graphene oxide in acetone, then dropping dichloropropane, microwave treating, then drying to obtain the multi-layer graphene oxide through expanding layer, mixing the obtained multi-layer graphene oxide with the obtained modified attapulgite and stirring uniformly, then adding to 2, 3-dihydroxy-naphthalene-6- sodium sulfonate solution, mixing and stirring, stirring by slowly dropping dimethylformamide, finishing dropping, ultrasonically treating the mixture for 30 minutes, then carrying out high temperature treatment, washing the product after processing, and drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing heavy metal removing material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing heavy metal removing material comprises crushing attapulgite raw ore, then sieving by a 80-mesh sieve to obtain attapulgite powder, then adding the powder into 40-60 wt.% organic acid solution, stirring, reacting for 20-40 minutes at 60-80 degrees C, slowly adding sodium bicarbonate in the stirring process, finishing reaction, centrifuging and filtering the product, drying the precipitate product at 60-80 degrees C to obtain the modified attapulgite, dissolving the multilayer graphene oxide in acetone, then dropping dichloropropane, microwave treating for 30-60 minutes under the action of microwave field, then drying for 60-80 minutes at 60-100 degrees C to obtain the multi-layer graphene oxide through expanding layer, mixing the obtained multi-layer graphene oxide with the obtained modified attapulgite and stirring uniformly, then adding to 2, 3-dihydroxy-naphthalene-6- sodium sulfonate solution, mixing and stirring, stirring by slowly dropping dimethylformamide, finishing dropping, ultrasonically treating the mixture for 30 minutes, then carrying out high temperature treatment, washing the product after processing, and drying.
