NOVELTY - A water-system lubricating fluid composition comprises water and 0.005-2.0 %mass graphene-like nanocarbon having hydroxyl group, epoxy group and carboxyl group as surface functional group, with respect to the whole quantity. USE - Water-system lubricating fluid composition. Uses include but are not limited to lubricating fluid for abrasion reduction of various machineries, lubrication/cooling combining liquid, antifreeze, cutting fluid, rolling liquid, plastic working fluid, water-system hydraulic actuation liquid for cooling electric motor, bearing lubricating fluid for electric vehicle, hybrid vehicle, fuel cell vehicle, lubrication of reduction gear, etc. ADVANTAGE - The water-system lubricating fluid composition has high abrasion reducing effect and excellent dispersion stability, and has excellent lubricous state and performance maintained for a long period of time even in severe environment. The lubricating fluid composition does not require pH preparation, which contributes to the maintenance reduction. The elements contained in the composition are environmentally-friendly. The machinery provided with the lubricating fluid composition can be operated smoothly over a long term.
