▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Preparation method of aerogel spheres, involves (1) mixing filler, viscosity modifier, salt and water according to a mass ratio of 1:(0.05-0.2): (0.025-0.05):(5-50) to obtain a functionalized filler slurry, (2) putting the functionalized filler slurry into an electrospray processing device and collecting filler slurry droplets with a controllable diameter through the collecting device, (3) dropping the droplets of the filler slurry with a controllable diameter into a low-temperature refrigerating medium, performing a freezing process to form a frozen mixture and subjecting the frozen mixture to a freeze-drying process to obtain an aerogel sphere precursor and (4) subjecting the precursor to two sintering heat treatments. USE - Preparation method of aerogel spheres used in energy storage applications, composite materials, military and aerospace applications. ADVANTAGE - The aerogel spheres have a wide range of applicable materials, controllable aerogel size, simple preparation process, relatively mild reaction conditions, high yield, controllable diameter and high porosity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for aerogel spheres, which has specific surface area of 50-250 m2/g, density of 20-200 mg/cm3, porosity of 74-96% and diameter of 10 mu m-3.0 mm.
