NOVELTY - A gas sensor preparation method involves preparing graphene oxide dispersion liquid by treating graphite oxide in water ultrasonically to form a single chip disperse suspension. The dispersion liquid is stirred with hydrochloric acid solution and aniline in an oil bath to obtain liquid mixture, which is filtered and washed to obtain redox graphene/polyaniline hybrid material as solid powder. The material is placed in ammonia solution under magnetic stirring to obtain a mixture. The mixture is filtered and washed till filtrate is neutralized. The filtrate is washed by an organic solvent-I. USE - Method for preparing gas sensor for use during ammonia detection (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing a gas sensor with excellent sensitivity in a simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A gas sensor preparing method involves preparing graphene oxide dispersion liquid by treating graphite oxide in water ultrasonically under 40-100 kHz for 1-3 hours to form a single chip disperse suspension. The dispersion liquid is stirred with 0.5-2 M hydrochloric acid solution and aniline in an oil bath at 60-90 degrees C under magnetic stirring for 12-24 hours. The stirred liquid is filtered and washed for 2-3 times to obtain redox graphene/polyaniline hybrid material as solid powder. The material is placed in 0.5-2 M ammonia solution under magnetic stirring for 1-12 hours to obtain a mixture. The mixture is filtered and washed till filtrate is neutralized. The filtrate is washed by an organic solvent-I till filtrate becomes colorless. The resultant filtrate is washed using ethanol for 2-3 times. The washed product is vacuum-dried for 12-24 hours to obtain redox graphene as solid powder. The redox graphene is dispersed in an organic solvent-II to obtain 0.1-2 mg/ml dispersed solution. The 0.1-0.5 mu l dispersed solution is dropped on a surface of an electrode and vacuum-dried at 60-150 degrees C to obtain a finished product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a gas sensor prepared by the method.
