NOVELTY - Preparing graphene comprises placing graphene oxide in first temperature zone of a heating furnace, placing a metal reducing agent in a second temperature zone of the heating furnace, evacuating heating furnace, thus the first temperature zone and the second temperature zone are in the same vacuum environment, heating graphene oxide placed in the first temperature zone to first preset temperature to dissociate oxygen-containing functional groups in graphene oxide to obtain oxygen-containing particles, heating metal reducing agent placed in the second temperature zone to second preset temperature to combine the metal reducing agent with the oxygen-containing particles to obtain metal oxide and maintaining the first preset temperature and the second preset temperature for preset duration to obtain graphene. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method avoids excessive oxygen content in the heating furnace to inhibit the oxygen-containing functional groups in graphene oxide from escaping and increases the reduction of graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An independent claim is also included for graphene is prepared by the above mentioned method.
