NOVELTY - A graphene film composite quartz sand adsorbent is prepared by taking quartz sand as substrate, adding into organic solution of polyvinyl alcohol, continuously stirring, reacting at 100 degrees C for 2-5 hour to quartz sand surface rich in hydroxyl, drying into box at 20-50 degrees C to obtain pre-treated substrate, immersing into ethanol solution of containing 0.1-10% silane coupling agent at 20-50 degrees C, continuously reacting under stirring for 1-10 hours, taking out substrate, drying, adding organic solution containing 0.1-10 wt.% graphene, and reacting at 50-100 degrees C for 1-10 hours. USE - Method for preparing graphene film composite quartz sand adsorbent used for adsorbing heavy metal ion and organic matters in wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product is suitable to high toxicity, low concentration and difficult to degrade organic wastewater and heavy metal wastewater, has absorption rate of more than 95%, and avoids uncontrollable property of nanomaterial. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene film composite quartz sand adsorbent is prepared by taking quartz sand as substrate, adding into organic solution of polyvinyl alcohol, continuously stirring, reacting at 100 degrees C for 2-5 hour to quartz sand surface rich in hydroxyl, drying into box at 20-50 degrees C to obtain pre-treated substrate, immersing into ethanol solution of containing 0.1-10% silane coupling agent at 20-50 degrees C, continuously reacting under stirring for 1-10 hours, taking out substrate, drying, adding organic solution containing 0.1-10 wt.% graphene, and reacting at 50-100 degrees C for 1-10 hours. The graphene is modified graphene with active comprising carboxyl, epoxy, acyl chloride, hydroxyl, mercapto and amino. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for use method of graphene film composite quartz sand adsorbent comprising taking 1-250 mu g/ml toxic organic wastewater or micro-heavy metal ion wastewater, adding with 1-15 g graphene film composite quartz sand adsorbent, and treating for 1-21 hours.
