▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A modified graphene comprises graphene and water-soluble chitosan quat.-ammonium salt in which pH of modified graphene in aqueous solution is 3-11. USE - Modified graphene for adsorption of methyl orange dye (claimed) used for printing and dyeing wastewater treatment. ADVANTAGE - Modified graphene is non-toxic, highly stable, and environment-friendly and has large specific surface area and good biological activity. Preparation process is simple and easy to operate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of modified graphene which involves preparing graphite oxide by performing Hummer's method, adding sodium hydroxide solution, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain 2-5 mg/ml graphene oxide dispersion, adding 3-7 mg/ml water-soluble chitosan quat.-ammonium salt, mixing at room temperature, adjusting pH using 0.01-0.06 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution, adding reducing agent, performing chemical heat reduction to obtain black flocculent precipitate, filtering, washing, and drying; and (2) adsorption of methyl orange dye which involves adding 0.1-1.5 g/L modified graphene in 20-70 mg/L methyl orange dye solution and stirring at 10-50 degrees C to adsorb with adsorption rate of 80-98.93%.
