NOVELTY - A composite material comprises polyaniline and 10-80 mass% graphene, where the polyaniline is dispersed on a layered structure of graphene. USE - Composite material for a lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material improves specific capacity and energy density of a lithium ion battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a method for preparing a composite material, which involves ultrasonically dispersing graphite oxide in water to prepare graphene oxide suspension, mixing and stirring graphite oxide suspension and aniline in ratio 1:1-1.2, adding catalyst at room temperature for 24 hours to obtain a graphene oxide polyaniline composite material, and reducing polyaniline composite graphene oxide to obtain a graphene polyaniline composite material (2) a lithium ion battery comprising electrolyte, positive electrode plate, a negative plate, a separator, where the positive and negative electrode plates are provided with graphene polyaniline composite materials.
