NOVELTY - Preparing enhanced type graphene surfactant comprises (i) preparing graphene oxide by adding concentrated sulfuric acid to large beaker, placing in ice bath, adding natural graphite, stirring, adding potassium permanganate, stirring, replacing ice bath with distilled water, placing in constant temperature water bath, stirring, stabilizing the water temperature, stirring, heating, adding distilled water, stirring, diluting, and adding mixed solution hydrogen peroxide solution and distilled water, (ii) preparing graphene bromide, (iii) preparing sodium ethoxide, and (iv) preparing surfactant. USE - The method is useful for preparing enhanced type graphene surfactant (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple; has low cost, good repeatability and short production period. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing enhanced type graphene surfactant comprises (i) preparing graphene oxide by taking 23 ml 98 wt.% concentrated sulfuric acid and adding to 250 ml large beaker, placing in ice bath, then adding 1 g natural graphite, stirring at a rotating speed of 300-400 rotations/minute (rpm) for 10-40 minutes, adding 6 times of 6 g potassium permanganate at temperature of 0-5 degrees C, then stirring at the speed of 300-400 rpm for 2-2.5 hours, replacing ice bath with distilled water, placing in 30-40 degrees C constant temperature water bath, stirring at speed of 300-400 rpm for 30-60 minutes, finally stabilizing the water temperature at 40-50 degrees C, stirring at the speed of 300-400 rpm before placing in 80 degrees C constant temperature water bath pot, heating to 80 degrees C, adding 4 times of 80 ml distilled water, stirring at the speed of 300-400 rpm for 15-20 minutes, adding 60 ml distilled water for diluting, then adding mixed solution of 10.81 ml 30% hydrogen peroxide solution and 60 ml distilled water, ultrasonically treating for 1-2 hours, centrifuging at the speed of 8000 rpm for 10 minutes, washing to be pH value of 5-6, maintaining the temperature of the vacuum chamber at 60 degrees C, and drying for 7-8 hours to obtain graphene oxide powder, (ii) preparing graphene bromide by dissolving graphene oxide powder in 20 ml tetrahydrofuran, ultrasonically treating for 1-2 hours, then adding 0.8 ml 48% hydrobromic acid, stirring at 400-500 rpm, refluxing at temperature of 40-60 degrees C for 30-60 minutes to obtain yellowish brown solution, using analytically pure tetrahydrofuran to centrifuge at speed of 7000 rpm for 10 minutes, washing for three times, drying in a vacuum tank at 40-50 degrees C for 3-4 hours to obtain graphene bromide powder, sealing the powder, and storing in dry place, (iii) preparing sodium ethoxide by taking 12 mg sodium metal, adding 10 ml anhydrous ethanol and reacting for 2-3 hours, obtaining ethanol solution of milk white sodium ethoxide, transferring to a flat-bottomed flask, and evaporating remaining ethanol at 90 degrees C by distilling for 1-2 hours, distilling until there is no liquid, obtaining solid sodium ethoxide, sealing, and storing in dry place, and (iv) graphene surface grafted-ethoxide group: adding the graphene bromide powder to 10 ml tetrahydrofuran, ultrasonically treating for 30-60 minutes, then adding sodium ethoxide, continuously carrying out ultrasonic treatment for 30-40 minutes, refluxing at 60-80 degrees C for 1-1.5 hours, then centrifuging the first solution using ethanol at the speed of 7000 rpm for 10 minutes, cleaning for 3 times, then using water to wash for pH value to be 6-7, drying in the vacuum drying chamber at 60 degrees C for 6-8 hours to obtain solid, where the solid is enhanced graphite type surfactant.
