NOVELTY - Polyester resin comprises 10-44 wt.% polyol, 48-65 wt.% aromatic polyacid, 0.0-2 wt.% branching agent, 2.3-30 wt.% graphene dispersion liquid, 0-12 wt.% acidolytic agent, 0-4 wt.% alcohololytic agen, 0.03 0.15 wt.% esterification catalyst, 0.01 2 wt.% antioxidant and 0-1 wt.% curing accelerator. USE - The resin is useful for heat-dissipating powder coatings (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The powder coating: has high gloss and excellent mechanical properties after curing; and increases thermal conductivity by 10-200% while ensuring the same performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for preparing the polyester resin comprising adding polyol, branching agent, graphene dispersion, aromatic acid and ester, adding chemical catalyst into the reactor at the same time, heating to 235-255 degrees C at a rate of 1-2 degrees C/minute in a nitrogen atmosphere and maintained, after the system is clarified, taking a sample and the acid value reached 5-20 mgKOH/g IPA, ADA, CHDA and FCC, maintaining the temperature at 235-250 degrees C for acid decapsulation, when the acid value of the polyester is 35-70 mgKOH/g, reducing the temperature to 230-240 degrees C at a rate of 3-5 degrees C/minute and vacuuming (0-0.1 MPA) polycondensation to make the acid value of the polyester reach 25-55 mgKOH/g, venting the gas in the reactor, cooling down to 180-230 degrees C, adding antioxidants and curing accelerators, maintaining for 5-30 minutes, discharging the material to obtain a carboxy-terminated polyester resin with an acid value in the range of 25 55 mgKOH/g, or adding polyol, branching agent, graphene dispersion, aromatic acid and esterification catalyst into the reactor at the same time, and the temperature is increased to 235-255 degrees C at a rate of 1-2 degrees C/min in a nitrogen atmosphere and maintained, after the system is clarified, a sample is taken and the acid value (AV) reached 5-2mgKOH/g is added. Hypoacid hydrolyzing agents IPA, ADA, CHDA and FCC, etc., and maintain the temperature at 235-250 degrees C for acid decapsulation, when the acid value of the polyester is 35-70 mgKOH/g, the temperature will be reduced to 230 degrees C at a rate of 3 5 degrees C/minutes, performing polycondensation at 240 degrees C and vacuum (0-0.1MPA) to make the acid value of the polyester reach 30-60mgKOH/g, and then reduce the temperature to 210-230 degrees C at a rate of 3-5 degrees C/min, after adding the alcoholysis agent and maintaining it for 20 minutes, venting the gas in the reactor and lower the temperature to 180-225 degrees C, adding antioxidants and curing accelerators and maintain for 5-30 minutes, and discharging, when the bifunctional polyester resin is obtained, and its acid value is in the range of 15-55 and the hydroxy value is in the range is 15 55 mgKOH/g.
