NOVELTY - Graphene oxide-tetraethyl orthosilicate/silane composite gel material comprises 5-45 pts. wt. oxidized graphene dispersion liquid, 30-90 pts. wt. tetraethyl orthosilicate, 30-80 pts. wt. silane, 1-5 pts. wt. emulsifier and 1-5 pts. wt. dispersant. USE - The composite gel material is useful in architectural coatings (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite gel material has good waterproof and corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the composite gel material, comprising (i) mixing the graphene oxide dispersion with a dispersing agent to obtain a first mixed liquid; (ii) mixing the silane with an emulsifier to obtain a second mixed solution; (iii) mixing the first mixed liquid with the second mixed liquid, adding tetraethyl orthosilicate, where the step (i) and the step (ii) have no chronological order.
