NOVELTY - Light valve with increased compressive strength, comprises a first transparent substrate, a first transparent electrode formed on the first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate, a second transparent electrode formed on the second transparent substrate USE - Used as light valve with increased compressive strength. ADVANTAGE - The light valve: has excellent high temperature and pressure resistance; and can meet the requirements of the lamination process for the subsequent production of dimming glass components. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Light valve with increased compressive strength, comprises a first transparent substrate, a first transparent electrode formed on the first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate, a second transparent electrode formed on the second transparent substrate. The first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode are disposed opposite to each other. A light control layer disposed between the first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode; the light control layer includes a polymer matrix, where suspension medium droplets are dispersed in the polymer matrix, and solid light-controlling particles are distributed in the suspension medium droplets, the polymer matrix is obtained by crosslinking and curing at least one siloxane copolymer, and the siloxane copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing monomers including (a) silicon-containing non-crosslinking monomer, which may be provided in the form of silicon-containing non-crosslinking monomer and/or an oligomer, (b) silicon-containing crosslinkable monomer, and (c) silicon-containing monomer of formula (R-Xm-(CH2)n-SiR1xR2y) with high occupancy side chains.
