NOVELTY - A meta-material comprises unit elements in which at least one portion comprises graphene (1), and has a negative refractive index. USE - Meta-material is used for optical components e.g. lenses and prisms. Uses include but are not limited to scanners, copiers, semiconductor devices, and memory devices. ADVANTAGE - The meta-material has improved propagation efficiency with respect to electromagnetic waves and electron mobility.
