NOVELTY - Preparing three-dimensional skeleton selenium decorated reduced graphene oxide electrode comprises (i) dissolving cobalt acetate tetrahydrate and polyvinylpyrrolidone in ethanol to obtain mixed solution, where the mass ratio of cobalt acetate and polyvinylpyrrolidone tetrahydrate is 1:(2-5), and the ethanol solution is 30-60 ml, (ii) transferring the mixed solution to a reaction kettle, hydrothermal reacting at 80-120 degrees C, for 3-6 hours, centrifugally washing to obtain a prismatic precursor Co, washing the solution with ethanol, and (iii) taking a certain amount of Co prismatic precursor and deionized water to obtain mixed solution, adding selenite and hydrazine hydrate, stirring, transferring the mixed solution to a reaction vessel, performing hydrothermal treatment at 120-220 degrees C for 18-32 hours, centrifuging and cleaning to obtain the CoSe2 particles of the three-dimensional framework. USE - The three-dimensional skeleton selenium decorated reduced graphene oxide electrode is useful for cathode material of potassium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, easy to repeat, has short production period, and large scale production.
