NOVELTY - Halogen-free composite material comprises 60-70 pts. wt. polypropylene, 10-20 pts. wt. edge graphene oxide modified master batch, 10-15 pts. wt. composite flame retardant, 1-2 pts. wt. antioxidant and 2-4 pts. wt. processing agent. USE - Used as halogen-free composite material. ADVANTAGE - The halogen-free composite material: can effectively prevent the overflow of flammable or toxic gases formed by polymer decomposition and the entry of external heat and oxygen and has high flame retardant efficacy and improved mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing halogen-free composite material, comprising (i) mixing and melting the edge graphene oxide and the polypropylene substrate with the weight ratio of 1:(5-1):(20) to prepare edge graphene oxide modified master batch; and (ii) mixing the prepared edge graphene oxide modified master batch, polypropylene, composite flame retardant, antioxidant and processing agent according to the component proportion, melting and mixing.
