NOVELTY - A maintenance coating comprises 20-30 parts mass epoxy resin, 8-12 parts mass mica powder, 7-12 parts mass heavy calcium carbonate, 1-1.5 parts mass drier, 0.6-0.8 part mass leveling agent, 1.2-1.5 parts mass dispersant, 13-15 parts mass mixed solvent, 7-9 parts mass anti-rust pigment and 30-40 parts mass zinc powder. USE - Maintenance coating for navigation mark ship. ADVANTAGE - The method provides maintenance coating have stronger corrosion resistance, effectively prolongs the service life of the maintenance coating, and can protect primer of the navigation mark ship from corroded by seawater. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of maintenance coating, which involves (S1) placing epoxy resin and mixed solvent into high-speed stirrer, stirring at stirring speed of 20-25 rps, adding mica powder, heavy calcium carbonate and anti-rust pigment in the stirring process, increasing the rotating speed of high-speed stirrer, stirring for 10-12 minutes at stirring speed of 40-50 rps to obtain mixed resin, (S2) inputting the mixed resin into paint mixing tank, stirring, adding leveling agent, dispersant and drier, adding mixed solvent to adjust viscosity, stirring to obtain paint, (S3) inputting the paint into ball mill for dispersion until fineness of paint slurry is ground to 30-45 µm to obtain slurry, (S4) mixing slurry with zinc powder, ultrasonically oscillating the mixture with ultrasonic frequency of 20-25 MHz for 25-30 minutes and mixing to obtain crude product, and (S5) filtering the crude product through 60-80 mesh filter screen.
