NOVELTY - Preparing polyethylene composite material comprises dissolving graphene oxide and octyltriethoxysilane into dimethylformamide (DMF), carrying out condensation reaction to obtain graphene oxide under triethylamine, ultrasonic dispersing the graphene oxide in oleic acid solvent, reflux reaction, centrifuging, washing with DMF, centrifuging for separation to obtain oleic acid functional graphene, dispersing the oleic acid functional graphene into dimethylbenzene solvent, dissolving polyethylene into dimethylbenzene solvent, mixing two solutions, removing solvent by distillation, drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing polyethylene composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple, easy and suitable for large scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing polyethylene composite material comprises dissolving graphene oxide and octyltriethoxysilane into 50ml dimethylformamide, carrying out condensation reaction to obtain graphene oxide under triethylamine 0.5ml, ultrasonic dispersing the graphene oxide in oleic acid solvent, reflux reaction, centrifuging, washing with DMF, centrifuging for separation to obtain oleic acid functional graphene, dispersing the oleic acid functional graphene into 50ml dimethylbenzene solvent, dissolving 1 g polyethylene into 200ml dimethylbenzene solvent, mixing two solutions, removing solvent by distillation, drying, to obtain composite material at 180 degrees C at 200 MPa.
