NOVELTY - The preparation of iron-plated graphene involves selecting flake graphite, mixing sodium nitrate and concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring to form mixed liquid, preparing graphene oxide by adding potassium permanganate, dissolving sodium borohydride, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate and sodium hydroxide in water, mixing sodium borohydride and sodium hydroxide solution to obtain solution (A), mixing graphene oxide and ferrous sulfate heptahydrate solution to obtain solution (B), dripping solutions (A) and (B) to grow nano-iron particles on surface of graphene, filtering and drying. USE - Preparation of iron-plated graphene used in intelligent anti-interference meter. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of iron-plated graphene with high electromagnetic wave absorbing effect, stable performance, better impedance matching of high saturation magnetization, electric dipole polarization relaxation, broad absorption band, high absorption strength, and high shielding effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation of iron-plated graphene involves selecting natural flake graphite, mixing sodium nitrate and concentrated sulfuric acid in ice bath, stirring to form mixed liquid, ultrasonically preparing graphene oxide by adding potassium permanganate into the mixture solution, dissolving sodium borohydride, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate and sodium hydroxide in appropriate amount of deionized water, mixing sodium borohydride and sodium hydroxide solution to obtain solution (A), mixing graphene oxide and ferrous sulfate heptahydrate solution to obtain solution (B), dripping solutions (A) and (B) into the reaction tank to grow nano-iron particles on the surface of graphene to obtain nano-iron particles coated graphene by suction filtration, and drying in vacuum drying box to obtain nano-absorbing material, where graphene is prepared by modified Hummer method, and iron/graphene composites are prepared by reduction method.
