▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A fabric comprises fibers functionalized to have adhered reactive functional groups reacted with functionalized carbon nanostructures become covalently grafted to the fiber and become a unit of the fibers' intrinsic structure. USE - Fabric for soft armor and composite structure (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The fiber is an anti-ballistic fabric-based soft armor that is significantly more effective due to the hierarchal structures of nanostructure materials taken in such combination as effectively causes entanglement of adjacent fibers, and which thus develops a hierarchal net-like structure between fibers that serves to enhance both strength and toughness of the fabric, by covalently bonding entangled carbon nanostructure to threads, composites and fabrics are much improved in physical properties, particularly in the inter laminar shear strength of laminated structures comprised of multiple plies of fabric impregnated with polymer resin fabrics, although these improvements have much wider application than only armor and body armor, in ultimate use for these particular applications both anti-ballistic and anti-stab resistance are significantly improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for (1) a soft armor which is constructed with the fabric; and (2) a composite structure which is constructed with the fabric.
