NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene quantum dot with controlled oxidation degree involves sequentially washing ultrafine graphite power with distilled water and ethanol, filtering, drying, mixing with mixed acid solution, reacting to obtain acid solution containing graphene quantum dot, purifying graphene quantum dot using macroporous resin, eluting with distilled water to remove salt, isolating graphene quantum dot, eluting with distilled water using macroporous resin, eluting with different concentration ethanol using macroporous resin and collecting ethanol eluate. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene quantum dot with controlled oxidation degree (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures simple and economical preparation of graphene quantum dot with controlled oxidation degree and high yield. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of graphene quantum dot with controlled oxidation degree involves sequentially washing ultrafine graphite power with distilled water and ethanol, filtering, drying, mixing with mixed acid solution, reacting at 110-160 degrees C for 24-40 hours to obtain acid solution containing graphene quantum dot, adding mixed acid solution to 4-9 times of distilled water, diluting with sodium hydroxide solution, purifying graphene quantum dot using macroporous resin for 2-12 hours, eluting with distilled water to remove salt, isolating graphene quantum dot, eluting with distilled water using macroporous resin to remove salt, eluting with different concentration ethanol using macroporous resin and collecting ethanol eluate.
