▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Improved method for synthesizing ionic liquid functionalized polysulfone membrane and incorporating graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for synthesizing ionic liquid functionalized polysulfone membrane and incorporating graphene oxide, where the functionalized polysulfone membrane is used for gas separation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: provides ionic liquid which will not leach out from the membrane surface hence the membrane is stable for long time; provides dispersed graphene oxide that improves gas separation flux and increased carbon dioxide/nitrogen gas selectivity of membrane; is for preparing casting solution in which methanol solvent is used instead of dimethylformamide, N-methylpyrrolidone and dimethylsulfoxide because of which process become greener; provides ionic liquid functionalized polysulfone membrane that can be more efficient comparing to other gas separation methods because of low energy and separation cost; utilizes the polysulfone that displays excellent chemical, thermal and mechanical stability; utilizes the polysulfone that is glassy polymer and possesses good resistance towards plasticization, hence it is a right candidate for polymer matrix for gas separation; and provides ionic liquid functionalized membrane that shows long term stability for gas separations at high pressure.
