NOVELTY - A graphene nanoribbon (13) is fused cyclic compound chosen from compounds (I)-(VI). USE - Graphene nanoribbon is used as channel for electronic device (claimed) e.g. top gate-type field effect transistor and thin film transistor. ADVANTAGE - The graphene nanoribbon is capable of increasing the degree of freedom in selecting the band gap value. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene nanoribbon is fused cyclic compound chosen from compounds of formula (I)-(VI).m = integer.
