NOVELTY - Treating organic sewage with electron beam irradiation synergistic catalyst, which adopts an electron beam catalytic unit, in which the organic matter is degraded, comprises (i) performing electron beam irradiation of organic sewage; and (ii) contacting the organic sewage with the catalyst, where the step (i) and step (ii) are carried out simultaneously, or are carried out successively after an interval time, and the interval time is less than or equal to 1 minute, the catalyst includes an active metal element and an optional support, the active metal element is alkaline earth metals and/or transition metals, and the active metal element exists in an insoluble solid form. USE - The method is useful for treating organic sewage with electron beam irradiation synergistic catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method is economical, environmentally friendly and fast and has high efficiency degradation of organic pollutant and no new waste and salinity risk.
