NOVELTY - A low-temperature curing high corner covering powder coating comprises 50-70 wt.% silicone propyl ester modified polyester resin, 5-10 wt.% curing agent, 1-5 wt.% curing accelerator, 1-3 wt.% charging additive, 0.3-0.5 wt.% degassing agent, 0.2-1 wt.% brightener, 1-5 wt.% corrosion-resistant filler, 5-25 wt.% pigment, 5-20 wt.% filler and 0.2-1 wt.% coupling agent. USE - Low-temperature curing high corner covering powder coating for engineering mechanical structural component. ADVANTAGE - The coating can be solidified into a film at a relatively low temperature of 140-160°C and in a short period of time (1020 minutes), and uses additive to improve overall charging-ability of the powder to ensure that the powder is evenly powdered. The cured coating has excellent corner covering property. The curing and film-forming temperature of the coating is reduced, which reduces energy consumption. The corner coverage can prevent the coating at the corners from being too thin and cause abrasion. The corrosion-resistant pigments and corrosion-resistant fillers improve the corrosion resistance of coatings, and service life of products. The silicone propyl ester modified polyester resin expands branched chain of polyester resin, improves gel time when reacting with another components and the leveling property of the coating can be improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the coating, which involves mixing the silicone propyl ester modified polyester resin, curing agent, curing accelerator, charging additive, degassing agent, brightener, filler, pigment, anti-corrosion filler and coupling agent, melting and extruding using a twin-screw extruder by setting temperature in a zone (a) at 50-70°C, zone (b) at 110-120°C, zone (c) at 110-120°C, zone (d) at 100-110°C, pressing the extruded bottom material into sheet bottom material using a machine, crushing the extruded bottom material into sheet using a crusher, crushing the flake base material with a crusher, crushing the base material using the crusher and passing through a cyclone separation and sieving system to obtain powder coating with a particle size of 3-90 μm.
