NOVELTY - The preparation of lightweight graphene nylon composite material, involves (1) mixing amide monomer and nylon, vacuuming, heating, purging with nitrogen, adding catalyst, maintaining melt temperature and vacuuming to obtain active material (A), mixing auxiliary catalyst and toughener, heating at 120 degrees C, vacuuming for 10 minutes, heating at 120 degrees C for 20 minutes to obtain active material (B), passing active material (A) and active material (B) into closed mold, preheating mold at 160 degrees C, magnetically stirring melt at 1000 rpm, mixing foaming agent and vacuumizing to obtain foamed casting nylon, (2) mixing foamed casting nylon, graphene, abrasion agent, thermally conductive filler, lubricating dispersant and additive, adding to screw extruder, melting and mixing, extruding and granulating to obtain graphene nylon composite material, controlling rotation speed of screw extruder and temperature and drying obtained graphene nylon composite particles. USE - Preparation of lightweight graphene nylon composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of lightweight graphene nylon composite material with high strength, increased toughness, excellent thermal conductivity and enhanced wear-resistance by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The step (1) involves mixing amide monomer and nylon at mass ratio of 1:1, vacuuming to 0.1 MPa, heating at 120 degrees C for 30 minutes, maintaining melt temperature at 120 degrees C and vacuuming for 30 minutes. The step (2) involves controlling rotation speed of screw extruder at 400-720 rpm and temperature at 200-300 degrees C and drying obtained graphene nylon composite particles at 80-130 degrees C for 2-8 hours.
