NOVELTY - Mixed aerogel, is obtained by mixing gellan gum and graphene oxide and freeze-drying. USE - The mixed aerogel is useful in dye adsorption, water treatment and fish transportation (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for preparing the mixed aerogel, comprising dissolving gellan gum in deionized water, adding a graphene oxide solution, stirring the reaction to obtain homogeneous mixture, pre-cooling the mixture to less than -20 degrees C and carrying out lyophilization.
