ADVANTAGE - The biodegradable protein-based resin composition has low equipment costs, low energy consumption, short crosslinking time, low environmental impact and excellent mechanical properties, enhances mechanical strength and water resistance, and improves mechanical and water resistance performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. a solid biodegradable article, which is formed from composition; 2. a method for preparing biodegradable protein-based plastic composition, which involves: a. combining methacrylated or acrylated protein, strengthening agent, plasticizer and initiator to form mixture, where initiator is photoinitiator or thermal initiator; b. exposing mixture to UV light or heat to cure composition.
