NOVELTY - A cathode comprises an active material containing a sulfur-carbon composite comprising thermally expanded reduced graphene oxide and sulfur, and an additive containing montmorillonite. USE - Cathode for lithium secondary battery (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to electronic devices, communication devices, electric vehicles and electric storage systems. ADVANTAGE - The cathode has excellent electrochemical reactivity, improves problems due to the elution of lithium polysulfide, and improves the capacity and durability of lithium secondary batteries.
