NOVELTY - A ZIF-8 pyrolysis porous carbon-graphene composite material has graphene ZIF-8 pyrolysis porous carbon surface. USE - The ZIF-8 pyrolysis porous carbon-graphene composite material is useful as electrode material for supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The ZIF-8 pyrolysis porous carbon-graphene composite material is inexpensive and prepared by simple method, and has high specific surface area and excellent stable chemical property, current density of 1 A/g and specific capacitance of 300 F/g. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of ZIF-8 pyrolysis porous carbon-graphene composite material, which involves mixing zinc nitrate hexahydrate and 2-methylimidazole, dissolving the mixture in solvent, leaving for 1-2 hours to obtain milk-like solution, centrifuging, washing and vacuum drying to obtain ZIF-8 crystal, mixing ZIF-8 crystal and potassium citrate in mass ratio of 1:5-1:40, mixing, grinding, carbonizing at high temperature of 800 degrees C for 2 hours, washing and drying.
