NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene powder involves dry grinding or wet grinding 20-40 wt.% magnesium powder and 60-80 wt.% carbonate powder for 0.5-30 hours using methanol, ethanol, propyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, isobutyl alcohol or acetone as ball milling medium, obtaining mixed powder, drying the obtained mixed powder at 30-90 degrees C under air atmosphere, nitrogen atmosphere, argon atmosphere or vacuum, and performing high-pressure combustion synthesis reaction or normal-pressure combustion synthesis reaction of the resultant powder. USE - Preparation of graphene powder (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method economically provides graphene powder having excellent storability, by a simple process. The graphene powder is environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene powder involves dry grinding or wet grinding 20-40 wt.% magnesium powder and 60-80 wt.% carbonate powder for 0.5-30 hours using methanol, ethanol, propyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, isobutyl alcohol or acetone as ball milling medium, obtaining mixed powder, drying the obtained mixed powder at 30-90 degrees C under air atmosphere, nitrogen atmosphere, argon atmosphere or vacuum, and performing high-pressure combustion synthesis reaction or normal-pressure combustion synthesis reaction of the resultant powder. The purity of the magnesium powder and carbonate powder is 95-99.999% and 90-99.9%, respectively. The average particle diameter of the magnesium powder and carbonate powder is 0.03-5 mm and 0.01-5.2 mm, respectively. The carbonate powder is chosen from magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate and strontium carbonate.
