NOVELTY - The cell (100) has a container provided with a vapor cell chamber (6). The vapor cell chamber is filled with vapor cell gas that contains alkali metal atoms such as rubidium and/or cesium atoms, molecules and/or gaseous mixtures. Electrodes (10, 14) are arranged in the container to maintain an electric field and/or electrical field gradients in the vapor cell chamber and made from graphene. The container is made from glasses. Electrical leads (12, 16) are in contact with the electrodes and extend along direction of the container. USE - Vapor cell for maintaining atomic gases in an atomic physics field, a MRI field and a biomedical analyzes field.
