NOVELTY - The vehicle (4) has an on-board electrical system (6) which comprises an electrical line (8) connecting two components for power supply or for data transmission. The electrical line has a carbon-based electrical conductor (16) that comprises carbon fibers, graphene and/or carbon nanotubes. The carbon-based electrical conductor is formed by a strand (18) consisting of single or multi-walled carbon nanotubes, which are aligned parallel with one another. The strand consists of multiple layers of graphene. The strand is produced by compressing graphene particles. USE - Road vehicle e.g. passenger car or truck. ADVANTAGE - The electrical line for a high-voltage and high-current on-board network of a road vehicle, has good electrical conductivity at low weight.
